PG MERIT SCHOLARS FROM UGC
Mr.M.Saravanan (2011-2012) and Miss.D.Anuradha(2011-2012) M.Sc Zoology students received PG Merit scholarship for university rank holder from UGC.

SPECIAL SUPPORT FROM UGC  
Department has been recognized for special support under X plan  (Rs.4 lakhs)  and XI plan  (Rs. 6 lakhs) by UGC for improving PG laboratory.

            Our department yield cent percent result with good grade in every semester. Our UG and PG students secured university ranks and gold medals.

VERMITECHNOLOGY
            Our department is having a separate vermicompost unit where special training is offered to the UG students. Active researches are also being carried out in this field. A considerable amount of vermicompost product is produced and supplied to the farmers.
