The Programme was held at Nehru Memorial College(Autonomous), Puthanampatti on 17th September 2016. Before that the chief guest shri. Yasuaki Nagaishi, Secretary General, OISCA- International, Japan plant a sapling at out college campus. The lighting the lamp was taken place by the college commitee members, chief guest and the organizers. After that the memodam was given to all the members and chief guest at the stage. First of all Dr.T.Jayaprakasam, Principal, Nehru Memorial College gave the welcome address to the gatherings encouraged the coming up of 100th chapter of OISCA at Trichy.
Dr.Thomas J.Thevara, Executive secretary, OISCA, SIC,Calicut introduced the OISCA programme to the audience. He informed the OISCA international was established in 1961 in Tokyo, Japan. In more than 50 years, the organization has established 15 agricultural training centers, 100 chapters and 1000 branches in more than 30 countries. OISCA International contributes to Humanity's environmentally sustainable development through a holistic approach,emphasizing the interconnectedness of agriculture echological integrity, and the human spirit. Then Shri.Yasuaki Nagaishi, Secretary General, OISCA - International,Japan gave the inaugural address to the gatherings. He pointed out rightly about natural calamities such as flood, tsunami, earthquake,rain drought etc. Flood entry in the city should be monitored he added. The OISCA should take of these problems and the public should look into this matter. He is very proud of launching the 100th chapter at Trichy via Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti. He paid much more confident that the Nehru Memorial College along eith OSICA togather would contribute lot to safe guard the earth the hardiest planet among the solar system, he added.
