The Research activities of the department are covers areas such as molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, vermitechnology, herbal medicine, integrated pest management, bioremediation, wildlife science etc.

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS

Department of Zoology is interacting and closely associating with department of Biotechnology, Mathematics, Physics and Computer sciences. Special lectures for special paper of biotechnology, bio-statatistics, biophysics and bioinformatics are being taught by teachers of respective departments.
