PG AND RESEARCH DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
The Department was started in the year 1972 and B.Com Course was introduced in the year 1981, M.Com., in 1994 and M.Phil., and Ph.D., in the year 2000. The department is offering U.G, P.G, M.Phil., and Ph.D., Courses in commerce. The department is headed by Dr. M. Mary Anbumathi with four staff members in the aided stream and fifteen staff members in the self-supporting stream. About 650 students are studying in B.Com course, 100 in M.Com and 18 in M.Phil., Programme for every academic year.
