The college campus is spread over 45 acres of land. It has multi-storey buildings housing spacious class rooms and laboratories. All the laboratories are equipped with state of art modern equipment. The college has an exclusive computer centre with 300 terminals. The office of the Controller of Examinations functions separately in a well furnished wing. The institution has a separate two storey Library building with 50048 volumes of books 1252 national, and international reputed / peer reviewed journals.
The college has two air-conditioned conference halls. A mega multipurpose hall with a floor space of 25,000 sq. feet is another unique feature of the college. There are three hostels:
Sir. C.V. Raman Hostel which could accommodate 1400 women inmates,
Mahatma Gandhi Centenary Hostel and
Highland Hostel for 600 men inmates.
These hostels are well furnished with lodging facility, reading rooms, computer laboratory with internet connectivity, play ground, ultra-modern kitchens and spacious dining halls. C.V. Raman Hostel for women has an open-air auditorium for the conduct of cultural and literary events. The institution has established Reverse Osmosis plant for the supply of purified drinking water for all the Students and Staff. As regards power supply, the college has 24 hrs HT power supply along with 165 KVA backup generators.
Solar : A 310kw solar power plant connected to Grid has been installed in the college
All the academic and administrative blocks are connected with Internet facility. All the staff members are provided with computer and Internet facility. Students have access to Internet in the Internet centre. The institution conducts medical camps frequently. Any emergency medical need is taken care of by the nearest Govt Hospital at Omandur which is 4 km. away from the campus. A separate vehicle is exclusively kept ready for the medical care of the students round the clock. The institution provides adequate transport facility for the students and staff.
There is a 300 seater BPO functioning 24/7 inside the campus providing Part time / Full time employment to our students. Students are encouraged to take Part - time employment and earn for their studies using this facility. The BPO is run by M/S HOV services, Pune and they are noted as largest Non-Voice based BPO in the country.
The college building roof-Tops are covered with solar Panels. A 310 KW grid connected solar power plant is functioning effectively supplying Green Energy. About 30% to 40% of the campus energy requirements are met through this power source.
Syndicate Bank a Nationalized Bank of India has installed an ATM at the entrance of the college facilitating the staff, students and other stake holders to have the facility of withdrawing money at their ease.
Two wheeler and Four wheeler Parking sheds are available at the entrance of the college.
All the waste water generated in the hostels are Biologically treated and pursued for irrigation inside the campus. Excess water is also provided for irrigation to nearby farms which grows lime plants in about 20 Acres. A Biogas night soil based plant is also functioning which converts the bio mass into Biogas which is used to heat water in the boiler.
There is a 2000 litre RO plant which produces sufficient quantity of RO water which is distributed to all strategic consumption points like class rooms, hostels, etc., Students are encouraged to use their own bottles to pickup portable water from these vantage points.
