Guest Lecture was organized by PG and Research Department of commerce. CA.VP.Manavalan - Chartered Account,Chennai was the guest speaker of this function. Dr.M.Mary Anbumathy - Head, Department of Commerce welcomed the gathering. Dr.T.Jayaprakasam - Principal, Nehru Memorial College gave presidential address and introduced the chief guest. CA.VP.Manavalan in his special lecture explained GST GOODS AND SERVICE TAX He explained need of GST, How GST helps in removing black money and helps economy to grow. He also gave details regarding registration of GST. He further said employment opportunities of commerce students will be doubted with the introduction of GST. Final Year Student of B.com gave vote of thanks. The programme ended with student's feedback and National Anthem.
