PG & Research Department of commerce or our college, organized a UGC sponsored ond day international seminar on GREEN MANAGEMENT IN INDIA AND IN ABROAD on 12th August 2016.
During the occasion Prof. M. Ponnambalam, Chairman Governing body delivered the presidential address. Er. Pon. Balasubrananian president and Shri. Pon. Ravichandran Secretary of the college offered felicitations. Earlier Dr. T. Jayaprakasam, prinicipal welcomed the gathering Mrs. Sivaneswari, Mrs. Mala Balasubramanian and Mrs. Thenmozhi Thangaraja graced the occasion by lighting kuthuvilakhu
Prof. P. Nimalathasan, Professor of financial studies, University of Jafna, Srilanka delivered the key note address and Prof. S. Nakiran, Professor of co-operative management, Ambo University, Ethiopia delivered a lecture on the importance of the envionment protection and reuse of materials. He also elucidated the current scenario by comparing foreign countries with Indian. Dr. S.Sivakumar, Profesor, Hawassa University, Ethiopia also spoke during the occasion.
More than 120 articles were published on the title Green Management and it was released on that day as an e-publication in the form of CD by M.Ponnambalam, Chairman.
As a mark of this occasion the department of commerce deonated 25 saplings alongs with 25 tree guards to the college. Dr. M. Mary Anbumathy coordinator of the programme proposed vote of thanks.
