PG & Research Department of Computer Science of Nehru Memorial College(Autonomous), Puthanampatti organised an inter-collegiate competition Think Quest 2015 on 06.03.2015. More than 130 students werepaarticipated in various colleges including Sarannathan Engineering Coollege and Bishop Heber College. The programme was inaugurated by Alumnus of NMC. Various competitions like Dumb Charades, Short Film Making, AD - MAD(Marketing), Web Design, CraCKode(Debugging), Logical Mine(Coding), Treasure Hunt, Paperscenario (Paper Presentation) were organised. Praveen George, Lead-ops at First Advantage, Bangalore delivered valedictory address and distrubuted the certificates for the prize winners, during his address he congratulated the students for acting participation. He opined that this type of healthy competitions shall improve the confidence of the student and there by improving their personality. He urged the students to think differently the present employers expects the candidate should possess analytical skills so that they can find methodology for complex problems. At the end the programme Bishop Heber College lifted, Think Quest 2015 overall trophy. Prized were also distributed for the winners of Optra'15 an inter-collegiate venture. Earlier the programme was presided by Dr. T. Jayaprakasam, Principal. Pon. Balasubramaniyan, President, College Commitee, released the magazine "View Port"and offered the felicitation. Mr. M. Muralidharan, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. The programme was coordinated by Assistant Professors Mrs. D. Jayachitra and K. Sridevi.
