PG & Research Department of Computer Science of Nehru Memorial college(Autonomous), Puthanampatti organized an inter-collegiate competition Think Quest 2016 on 12.02.2016. More than 100 students were participated in various college including Jamal Mohamed College college, Kadhar Moitheen College, Bishop Heber College and National College. The programme was inaugurated by principal (i/c) Dr.S.Kumararaman and faculty members of Computer Science Department.
Various competitions like Dumb Charades, Short Film Making, AD-MAD (Marketing), Web design, CraCKode(Debugging), Logical Mine(Coding),Treasure Hunt, Papersscenario(paper presentation) were organizes. Sivakumar Natarajan, Project Manager, Cognizant Technology Solution, Chennaiour alma mater delivered valedictory address and distributed the certificates for the prize winners, During his address he advised the students to indergo certifications in Hadoop, Big Data and Colud Computing which are all the developing technology in the industries.
The further said the student should set goals for their life and they must respects their teachers and should keep fighting attitude so that even in failures they must respects their teachers and should keep fighting attitude so that even in failures they should not loose hopes and they must move forward. At the end of the programme Jamal Mohammed College college lifted, Think Quest 2016 overall ttrophy. Prizes were also distributed for the winners of Optra'16an intra-collegiate venture.
Earlier the programme was presided by Dr. Kumararaman, Principal Incharge. Pon. Balasubramaniyan, President, College Commitee, released the magazine "View Port" and offered the felicitation. Prof.M. Muralidharan, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. The programme was coordinated by Assistant Professors Saraswathi and Mahalakshmi.
