Rajasekaran, Deputy General Manager, BHEL, Tiruchirappalli in the valedictory address of Two day State level workshop on “Application Development using Python” organized by Post graduate & Research Department of Computer Science. Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti on 17 & 18.02.2017. He further told that Industry expectations and outcome from Institutions are different. So the Institutions should upgrade themselves by updating the curriculum according to Industry needs. The updation in curriculum reduces the gap between Industry and Institution. Making the impact of curriculum among the students is the predominant duty of faculty members. country can grow only when the students update themselves, communicate and share their knowledge. Sharing of ideas is a big contribution to the society. Earlier the workshop was inaugurated on 17.02.2017 by Dr.T.Jayaprakasam, Principal, In the two day workshop participants were trained under various domains like Algorithm Analysis, Game Applications, Web development and Data mining and Machine learning applications by using Python language. The entire training was given by Python Core Group Members Prof. M. Muralidharan, Head, Department of Computer Science, Ms. K. PonvelAzhagu Lakshmi, Ms.V.Priya, and Ms.P.Kalpana, Assistant Professors who have expertise in these domains. Er. Pon. Balasubramanian, president, College Committee offered the felicitation. Dr. T. Jayaprakasam, Principal presided over the valedictory function. Around 30 faculty members and Research Scholars from various institutions were participated in the workshop. At the end of the workshop, the certificates were distributed for the participants.
