The PG & Research Department of Zoology of Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti conducted a special lecture on 29/09/2016 & 30th. Prof.M.P. Santhi, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Zoology,the chief guest of the occasion. He explained Vectors are otganisms that transmit pathogens and parasites from one infected person to another, causing serious diseases in human populations. These diseases are commonly found in where access to safe drinking -water and sanitation systems is problematic. Vector-borne diseases account for 17% of the estimated global burden of all infectious diseases.Dr.T.Jayaprakasam, Principal, Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti, presided the function.
