The Department of English organized a programme on "Communicative Competence" On 06-12-2017 at 02.00 pm in Mookapillai Auditorium.
Dr.A.R.Ponperiasamy, Principal delivered the presidential address. Er. Pon.Balasubramanian, President, College-Committee felicitated the gathering. Prof. T. Antony Cruze, Department of English delivered the welcome address.
The chief guest Dr. S. John Bosco, Asst. Professor, Department of English, St. Joseph's College, delivered the special lecture on "Communicative Competence". He insisted on easy means to improve English language. English language is already recorded in our mind. We must bring out through application and practice.
More than 450 students was participated and benefited through this programme. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Prof. K. Sundralakshmi, the Head, Department of English.
