The department of Economics organized a lecture on “Behavioural Economics in India’s Development” by Dean A.Prabaharan
Principal Dr.A.R.Ponperiasamy delivered the presidential Address. Head of the department Dr.R.Porselvi welcomed the gathering. Faculty members and students actively participated in the lecture.
In his lecture, Dean A.Prabaharan said “The union government is of the view that by changing the behavior of the citizens, country can be propelled to a higher growth levels. He quoted the economic outcomes of Swachh Bharath Movement, LED bulbs, voluntary surrender of free LPG connections etc.,
