To Share the knowledge, Students must interact with others and learn to use existing network to introduce new products using IT without human intervention(IOT). To improve economic conditions of our country, students innovate new products and become an entrepreneur. So the basic requirement for this is Creativity, Critical and Computation Thinking, Communication and Collaboration” said Dr.S.Arumuga Perumal, Head, Department of Computer Science, S.T.Hindu College, Nagercoil during his valedictory address on the occasion of Think Quest 2019 an Inter Collegiate Competition organized by the Post Graduate Department of Computer Science on 27.09.2019. He further opined that the students have plenty of opportunities and skills in various sectors like IOT, Mobile Apps Development, Block Chain etc which they have never dreamed off. The students should imagine the kind of impact they are going to make in the society. We should inspire others and the Nehru Memorial College is providing best platform to horn your skills. You should mouldyourself and should explore the world of knowledge which will help you to climb up in the ladder of your carrier.
More than 100 students were participated in various colleges including Jamal Mohamed College, Bishop Heber College, Holy cross College, MIET college of arts and Science, Meenakshi Ramasamy College, Imayam College, and Paavai College of Arts and Science, Swamy dhayanantha college karaikkudi , Government College of Arts and Science for Women, Pudukkottai and Alagappa University. Earlier the programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr.A R Ponperiasamy and the facultymembers of Computer Science Department. Various competitions like Dumb Charades, ShortFilm Making, AD–MAD (Marketing), Web design, CraCKode (Debugging), Treasure Hunt were organized. At the end of the programme Alagappa University, Karaikudi lifted, Think Quest 2019 overalltrophy. Cash Awards and Prizes were also distributed for the winners of the events. Er.Pon.Balasubramanian, President, College Committee offered the felicitation. Dr.M. Muralidharan, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering.The programme was coordinated by Assistant Professors Mrs.K.Deepa and Mr.P.Velmurugan.
