Code Venture is a voluntary students association established in the year 2014 by the Department of Computer Science exclusively for the under graduate and post graduate students of Computer Science. The main objective of the forum is to know the intricacies of the programming languages, learn problem solving methodologies, understand how to write efficient programs and enhance logical thinking. The inauguration of the forum for the academic year 2019-2020 was held at our college on 15/07/2019 and it was inaugurated by Dr.M.Muralidharan, Head, Department of Computer Science at 2.30pm. During his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of the forum and explained the various activities of the forum. He also motivated the students and gave awareness about the industry needs and how logical thinking will be helpful to solve real life problems. The students were interacted with him and asked many queries regarding the activities. More than 150 students from both under graduate and post graduate level were participated in this event.
Earlier the programme was presided over by the Principal Dr.A.R.Ponperiasamy. Prof. K.Ponvel Azhugulakshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, welcomed the gathering. The programme was organized by Prof. P.Kalpana, Assistant Professor & Convener of the forum, Department of Computer Science. Prof. V.Priya and Prof. K.Saraswathi were participated in this programme. Prof. P.Kalpana proposed vote of thanks.
