The placement cell of our college organized SOFT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME for the benefit of all final year students for their career developments for the academic year 2019-2020. The inauguration of this programme was held on today 13th August 2019 at 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM at our college seminar hall in the presence of Dr. A.R. Ponperiasamy, Principal of our college. The inaugural began with the formal procedure of Prayer Song.
Dr. A.Kasthuri, Associate Dean of Placement and extension activities formally welcomed the dignitaries along with distinguished participants in his opening address. She gave the introduction to the training programme with schedule and contents to be imparted in the training. She also formally introduced our panel of trainers those who are the key persons of this training programme.
Dr. A.R. Ponperiasamy, Principal unfold the inaugural address. In his inaugural address he emphasized the importance of the Soft Skills for the students. He gave the insight about our training programme being organized by Placement Cell for the benefit of the Students.
Dr. Meenakshisundaram, Co-ordinator has felicitated and also encouraged everyone to take active participation and get benefited by this programme. He gave the motivated speech on soft skills to students.
Dr. K.T.Tamilmani, Dean of Academic Affairs felicitates the gathering and gave the motivated keynote address to the participation the need of the effective communication skills and he has appreciated the placement cell for their effort for this programme. Also he explained that how effective communication makes a difference in the personality of students.
Assistant Prof. of the Management Studies Mr. P.Seeralan explains the purpose of this training programme as well as difference of Hard Skills and Soft skills in his motivated keynote address. He stated that the appropriate soft skills play an important role in a successful career as well as during social interactions in the society Assistant Prof. of Mathematics Mrs. C. Hemalatha gave the final keynote address about importance of aptitude skills for Students. Further she stated that the aptitude test can be used as a measure of the abilities of a person and also gave the complete picture of a person’s mind.
In the final session the students gave their feedback. In the end, Miss. R. Kasthuri final PG chemistry and the student’s representative of the placement cell offered a vote of thanks. She thanked all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence and all the participants of the programme.
The placements in charge of all departments were participated in this programme along with registered students. The main panel of trainers Asst. Prof. Mrs.P.Bakiyalakshmi, Asst. Proof Ms. S.Dhivyakannu, Asst.Prof.Mr. M. Kirubaharan and Asst. Prof. Mr. C. Sounda Rajan were participated in this programme. Associate Dean of placement Dr.A. Kasthuri and Assistant placement officer Mr. M. Vignesh organized this inauguration Programme.
